Who we are
State Mail & Distribution Services provides mail preparation and distribution services to State agencies, Cities and Special Service Districts between Ogden and Spanish Fork. Services include intelligent inserting, automated inserting, folding, tabbing, address printing, presorting and mail design.
USPS discounts provided to State Agencies through mail automation amount to almost $2 million per year in addition to tremendous labor savings.
Generate a SMAC Card
Only AUTHORIZED users are able to access the site.
If you are unable to access please contact your division representative who receives State Mail invoices and they will assist you in getting your new SMAC Card.
Please limit use of “Mail Today” SMAC cards for mail that needs same day postmark for legal purposes. The Standard card allows for presorting of your mail and a potential discount postage price.
Standard access users will receive a one time password to their email address each time they log in.
Training
US Postal requirements for mail addressing and preparation are always changing. To enable SMDS to continue providing customers with accurate information and efficient services, it is important for our customers to understand some of these requirements and changes. Quarterly Mail User’s Forums, Quarterly Newsletters and On-site training are available to all SMDS customers.
